STONEHILL COLLEGE, Easton, Massachusetts
BROCHURE
A creative services firm contracted me to write a student life brochure.
I first joined project management on a two-day campus visit, during which we interviewed scores of students to find out what makes Stonehill unique. After working with them to identify 12 student life themes, I collaborated with the design team to implement two creative concepts showcasing those themes.
Proceeding with the client’s chosen concept, I hand-picked 12 students from our focus groups whose experiences would lend an authentic voice to the themes. The project manager used my match-ups to coordinate and art-direct the photo shoots.
Through follow-up phone interviews with the students, I obtained anecdotes, personal quotes, and brief profiles. I supplemented those with short factual sidebars.
